The BQAB is an association of badminton academies in Qatar, established in 2018 with a shared
vision of promoting and developing badminton across the country.
BQAB serves as a collaborative platform that unites multiple academies under one umbrella to
nurture young talent, encourage grassroots participation, and raise the overall standard of
badminton in Qatar.
Our main focus is on the holistic development of children’s skills — enhancing their technical,
tactical, physical, and mental aspects of the game. Through regular training programs in each
academy, along with inter-academy tournaments and development workshops, BQAB aims to create a
structured pathway for young players to grow and excel.
In addition to player development, BQAB is committed to building a strong badminton community by
organizing tournaments, coaching clinics, and social events that bring together players,
coaches, parents, and badminton enthusiasts.
Our long-term goal is to support Qatar’s sporting vision by identifying and nurturing future
champions who can represent the nation at both regional and international levels.
